my 90 days has expired since it's been recieved, with no update, no check cashed, no recipt.

Should I be RE-filing all over again to a different service center?

Can I file for K3 anyway? I wasn't going to do that, and I THOUGHT they required the I-130 reciept first, but ?????

I spit on all USCIS employees and buerocrats.

No need to worry. CSC is stuck at the end of August (see above) and VSC just started moving again but is still caught up at the end of July. Just keep on waiting there is nothing else you can do. My husband and I are closing in on the 15 weeks- lets see if they make it. Otherwise we will have to call and contact our Congressman, Senator and who else we can think of.

We can find our senator at write your representative - contact an online resource from house.gov

"This service will assist you by identifying your Congressperson in the U.S. House of Representatives and providing contact information. Please review the frequently asked questions if you have problems using this service."

Our time line:

08/2006: met each other again

08/27/2006: an amazing night that started an amazing relationship

03/12/2007: proposed in Germany

07/06/2007: got married- it is wonderful to be married. I have a wonderful, smart, and loving wife who I miss dearly everyday!

12/2008: Went to see wifey for Christmas in Germany - So much fun!

07/06/2008: one year anniversary with wifey in Germany

10/09/2008: Going to see wifey for 16 days in Germany!

I filed for my spouse in mid August with VSC and still have not received a receipt notice. I called immigration and spoke with an officer, she told me to check back in a couple weeks. The only relief I got out of the conversation was that she told me the processing times should not be affected for us, because they consider when the application was sent. I hope she is right.

Hi Chemarc,

I wish she is right.... but the meaning that we still dont have a receipt even is that they have not even touched our cases. that obviously gonna delay our overall processing time. thats too bad. but we gotta face it.

i filed in sept beginning to CSC. no receipt yet. saddest part is that their weekly updates on receipting seems frozen. but still i feel so full of hopes and excited when friday is close. lets hope that this friday will bring all of us happiness!!! if not atleast a hope.

Cheers

kns123,

I was under the impression that the processing will not be affected. For example, if the approximate waiting time is six months, then my countdown started back in August when I sent the application. So I'm going to be hopefully expecting an NOA2 approved by February or March. But who knows? Just trying to stay positive.

I get the opposite vibe. If they imply 6 months I think 6 years.

They recieved my I-130 on September 4th and still nothing. So my wife is over in Pakistan waiting as I am over here. What bugs me the most is that they keep all of us on hold who are doing it the legal way, than I come to work everynight and see illgals doing the night cleaning. I guess everything comes easy for them, but the people who are doing it right have to pay a high filing fee and also be punished by waiting. December 4th will be 3 months, but when I do call I know they will say call back in a few weeks, so really from what I gather is that to get us off there backs they will tell us to wait 3 months, not that they have any intention to get the I-130's into the system between the 90 day time frame. Than they will give the lame excuse a couple weeks, and a couple weeks, and than another couple weeks. either they are not doing their job efficiently or they recieved 999,999 I-130's plus other type of forms in July. They need to hire more people or do something. The I-130 form is only about 2-3 pages long with a few documents for proof how hard can it be.

I had an english teacher in High school who went through 300 something essays which had to be a minimum of 10 pages, it took her a weekend and she was 74 years old. They were returned to us five days later.

Sorry if I sound nuts, I am just venting. Hoping there is a quick solution soon.

Tell me about it. :crying: I live in Texas where the illegals are so thick you could beat 'em out of the trees at night. But nooooo, for good, legal people like my husband we have to screw them around and make this as difficult as possible. Like THAT'S going to encourage legal immigration...

Ok, rant over. We're in the same boat as the rest of y'all. We filed out blasted I-130 back in September. According the postal receipt, USCIS got it on Sep 18. And we still haven't heard anything. They sure aren't helping when you try to get info, either. I called them back in Oct because their website said they were processing October's. No, I was told, ignore the website and wait 90 days. Ignore their own flippin' website? Another great example of government incompetence. So now I'm climbing the walls wondering if we'll get lost in the shuffle, too. What happens if you get lost in the system? Do you have to pay again? Because, brother, I sure can't afford to send them another check. I'll go straight to the President if I have to...oh, wait, he's the one who got us into this mess.

What should I do we haven't heard anything by the deadline? I'm afraid if I call they'll just give me the runaround. Should I make an appointment and go sit on someone at the processing center? Does anybody else have experience dealing with these people in person?

Oh, and could somebody please re-post that link for trying to track your application down? Since it's past midnight, I really don't feel like reading all the posts again. I must say, though, that I'm so glad I found this place. I guess it's true that misery loves company.

I am with you on this, I was thinking what to do when the 90 days are over, it would be insane if they ask us to refile again just to wait another 90 days for nothing. I would like to know what to do to get things done. If they lose my application I hope there is some way I can force their hand to process andother application without delay, what is every else doing after the 90 day period.

Again: do not refile! It's gonna just make your wait longer. And who knows what would happen if they process and approve your first petition and then they find the second one months later in their mail boxes and might even call back your first petition from NVC to make sure that nothing was wrong with that one thereby making your wait even longer.

Looking at illegal immigration makes the legal way look like joke. BUT would it be appealing for a spouse of a UC to be an illegal immigrant? Honestly, I don't want to end up working illegally for $1.50 as a dishwasher somewhere. What did I get my degree in Germany for if I were to do that? I want to work legally and therefore nothing is left for me to do but wait it out!

More discouraging news, they updated the NOA1 notices and nothing... yet again it looks like USCIS didn't do one bit over the past week. But then it was thanksgiving week- maybe better luck next week.
