Hi everyone!

I woke up this mourning just to casually check my e-mail, not expecting anything from the USCIS. So I checked my e-mail and found, in the middle of alot of junk mail, two e-mails from CSC saying that my I-129F and I-130 have been APPROVED!

What happened last week was I called Senator John McCain's office in Tuscon, AZ, since I live in Arizona. I talked to his secretary, and gave her all the information about my case, and how I filed in September and was delayed. The secretary told me that they will do everything they can to help me. They contacted CSC last week, CSC replied them the next day and told the secretary to give them 30 to 45 days to make a disicion on my applications. So McCain's office called me and told me this and the next day I recieved a letter from them jsut stating in writing what they told me over the phone. I have to call them to update and thank them for their help. Now only after a fews days of them calling the CSC, I am approved. I should have called them earlier for help. Anyway now on to the NVC, God Willing!

Hope the remainder of your journey is quick!

Im an Oct filer, so I am eagerly awating my approval. You mentioned that the emails were in between "junk" mail... do you mean they went to your BULK mail? or simply sitting there in your inbox amidst the useless mail we all get?? Im concerned now.. cuz i never look at my bulk mail, just trash it directly

I dont understand wht their problem is with quoting everyone the date they entered our files into the system as our filing date!!! I hope they aren't doing the same thing to adjudicate using the wrong dates!! I called USCIS and they said oh but u are a january filer.. i said no, I am an October filer who's case was sent to the lockbox for data entry IN JANUARY! She said.. ohhh yes, i see that!:unsure: Im glad you made your senator's office involved, now that they've got the date fixed, you can get adjudicated. But, that brings to mind.... if the rep just aggreed with me as a way to dismiss me???

I kinda figure its kinda pointless and a waste of time to write the congressman/senators, but gave it shot anyhow, not holding my breath for results on it. Hopefully we all will get our NOA2 soon and be on our way to NVC. Maybe NVC wont be as bad as this is (not holding my breath on that one either lol). The woman I talked to at the VSC on Friday told me that they would be going by the received date, not the date of the notice as the filing date. So we will see.
