Finally, the monster turned. On the 31st. NOA1 received. Beautiful surprise. Now on to NOA2. The journey continues. Good luck to all who are still waiting for NOA1 and thank you for sticking together and making this at times the most popular post on the site. I'll see you all around fighting the monster.

do you see your case online on uscis website?

As the USCIS has stated, it will take 2-3 weeks to be able to access your account online while they transfer the information from the data entry system to the case online system.

Good news people, we all moving, finally. I received my NOA 1 yesterday.

Sent on the Sept 14 to Texas service center

Received on Sept 17 at USCIS

NOA 1 Issued on Jan 3, 08

Received on Jan 7, 08

My file is at VSC.

Is there anybody else out there who sent their I-130 on August and has not received the NOA1 yet? Because I sent mine on August and haven't received anything yet, and I am worried that my file was lost during transfering all the files from service centers to Chicago Loxbox I called the USCIS yesterday and the officer took my information (finally) and sent a letter to VSC for further investigation....

Just blogged a ton of news agencies about this but get active hun, this is not right - what happened to FIFO and when September is getting theirs and yours is god knows where, dont wait for VSC to see, for what they will say to you is this........and yes its a typical form letter.....we can not locate you in the system, please supply us with your receipt number........

I now feel un-married, like hoping I can win the lottery and one day have a wife. Cause what I have now is nothing.

I received mine while I was in Bolivia spending the Holidays with my wife. What a wonderful present to come home too. Congratulations to everybody else who received theirs too, and for the people who are still waiting, your day will come. Now my next question... Does anyone no if this delay is going to have a major affect on the approval times? I called USCIS yesterday. My receipt is not in the system yet, and they told me to call back Jan. 27. They are working on June applications as of right now, so technically, my August application should be worked on in two more months? Any thoughts?

Does the word delay come into mind (sorry sik humor) for the rest of our journies? I am trying to be positive, but they cant even enter receipts in - this spells T R O U B L E in my mind.

I thought Chicago Lockbox is working hard to get the NOA1s out, but it seems like they are hardly working :-) . Sorry to hear that people from Aug still don't have NOA1 and USCIS website says it's has done until 9-24-07.

There is definitely something wrong if you haven't received a NOA1 from August because as of 1/8/2008, the Chicago Lockbox is working on 10/10/2007.

Is it possible that you just didn't receive it. Call them immediately and provide your name and any other information and see if you are in the system. Maybe you can find out something that way. Good luck.

This totally sucks, so much for FIFO. You guys should definitely call USCIS and raise hell. Keeping fingers crossed for you
