At my embassy it take only a month after the NVC approval to get an interview. I have been studying peoples time lines to figure out the processing times. You also can check processing times for your embassy someplace on this site. If I find it for you, i will post the link for you.

How did you find out the waiting time in embassy? I am trying to figure out the time difference between K3 and CR1. My friend told me that after it leaves NVC and reaches the native embassy it takes the same time to get the interview. It it true? any idea?

Ok you do not have many completed cases at bangladesh, but here is what i found under K3. Looks like it take about a month to get an interview.

CRI looks like it take 5 months from NOA2 to the interview.

Finally had my check cashed today, still waiting on NOA, hopefully that will be coming along in mail as well

Here is some info:-

Sent I-130 to Vermont on Aug 17th

Vermont received it on 20th Aug via DHL

Finally check cashed after 4 months and 9 days on 12/27

Still waiting for NOA1

I just sent my I-129f for the K3 visa to CSC where my I-130 is at. I sent it to the address on the bottom of the NOA1 for the I-130. I am hoping it won't take as long to get an NOA1 for the I-129f as it did for the I-130 NOA1. Saying my prayers.

Thank so much, yeah it is very sad, how people have to resort to violence. I just can't wait to see my wife, I won't let anything stop me:) I am sure everything will be okay by the time I go:) hopefully.

Don't worry, I am sure you will get an NOA1 by this week or the next. I think things are looking alot positive, now.

Great news! We got our NOA1 yesterday. Its issuing date was the 12/26/2007 and our check was just cashed yesterday. I am jumping up and down for joy. All of you who are still waiting: heads up- something is moving. I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of you. All will be good!
