Hi all,

I just got DS230 part I ans sent to NVC on 09/15/2007. I wonder, how long does it take to complete my case at NVC? When its completed, how long does it take for them to send to HCM embassy in VN? And also, how long does it take to get interview? If someone here had or have known ( estimate is fine :) ), please tell me. Thanks alot.

08/24/2004 - Filed I130 (i am green card holder :) )

02/14/2007 - I130 Aprroved

05/31/2007 - Update to US citizen (IR1)

07/2/2007 - I864 fee bill sent

07/23/2007 - I864 form sent

07/30/2007 - IV fee sent

08/21/2007 - They said they sent DS230 to me, but not yet received

09/15/2007 - Got DS230 and sent back to NVC

10/03/2007 - Case is done at NVC.

12/14/2007 - Interview at HCM embassy.

01/23/2008 - Back to State together( hopefuly :) )

It usually takes about 2 weeks. Make sure that you read and comprehend all questions. Example box 20, write the dates whenever she got her 16th birth date. Mi wife’s was return because of this stupid box. Do not leave any dates blank.

Thanks for the reply. I sent back to them already, now just waitting for transfer to embassy :)

08/24/2004 - Filed I130 (i am green card holder :) )
