Do you have to supply your bank Statements and asset info If your income exceeds for example 2-3x the poverty limit for your case? I know the more the better but does it matter. Thoughts please. Thanks

I did as the I-134 is not legally binding. I had it on me but it's not worth it if you have to go through alot of trouble to get the paperwork. Showing them you make past the poverty line is fine (IRS Tax transcrip, 1040, W-2, letter from employer, etc etc etc).

On the I-864, however, I left my bank statement and assets out as that's legally binding. What if we wanted to sell the house and move elsewhere for example.

In my opinion, on the I-134, yes, if you have them easily accessable.

N-400 for Citizenship.

i didn't submit any banking information. just my letter from my employer, last 6 months pay stubs(which they kept) and tax returns from prior 3 years although they only looked at 2006. as long as you are not in danger for the poverty requirements you should be fine.

just as a precaution you may want to just email that embassy and see. since we are stuck at their whim and never know who will want what.

No and you can simply leave blank all questions about assets. This is clearly covered in the instructions for both I-134 and I-864.

No and you can simply leave blank all questions about assets. This is clearly covered in the instructions for both I-134 and I-864.

My husband only submitted his 3 years Tax Returns with W2. If you exceed the poverty line thats all what you need, we didnt have a problem with it and i got my green card.
