Irfan,

Your passport is still with the consulate/embassy and they should be in the process of finishing up any security checks or details on your visa. Having you turn in the new forms is good news since it means they are actively working on your case. When they ask for the co-sponsor or updated finanicals it takes a few weeks for them to be looked over. Also, your security checks may have to be updated and no one can tell you how long it will take for this process to complete. I suggest you have your wife contact DOS (Department of State) 202 663 1225 (press 1, 0) to talk to an operator and ask for a status update. Good luck and hopefully your processing will be completed soon.

Mary

My friend, its time for you to sit back and relax  The good news will come to you soon. Infact start getting ready for the next step (AOS) after you enter the US. You might have to wait at the most another 3 months for the K1. Which is not long and not bad if you see others around you :)
