Hi all,

I am leaving work in two hours on my way to the airport as Jamal is going for his one month vacation back home - alone at last LOL ...

I know that he misses his family and from last year's experience - Ramadan is best done back home - he hated it here and suffered so much.

Hope that we will see some good news coming from the Casa and Cairo - long overdue.

Love always,

Dorothy

happy hump day everyone!

Not a lot going on in the office today. I just realized my shirt is on backwards so it must be one of THOSE days.........-sigh-

You just cracked me up to the point I laughed out loud!!! My friend just told me that she thought she had underwear problems...yep inside out and backwards. It has to be Wednesday.

No news as far as our visa......... I am praying for that NAO2 soon. It has been two months and no touch on the USCIS site.

News as far as the baby!! We are having a son and we are so thankful for our precious gift from God that so far he is healthy!!!

Everybody have a great rest of the week and I pray it goes fast at least for work!

Congratulations on your coming son!!!!

Glad your friend fixed her underwear problems, hopefully it wasn't a thong ;) though I would have to wonder just how one would put that on backwards and not notice. At some point in history, it must've happened.

Divorced. To hell with him.

I'm tired but happy that my in-laws made it here safely. It was so great to see them after 2 years. We didn't get home from the airport until 1am and then the entire clan that came with us to the airport decided to come back to my house, so at 1am I was preparing a meal for everyone. I didn't go to bed until 4am.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

Dorothy- that makes me laugh about Hicham breaking his fast last night at the Costco parking lot with a coke and a croissant. I think that was pretty much the weirdest one so far. I can see how it can be very difficult during Ramadan here without family and friends. Hicham never worked during Ramadan so it's pretty tough being on his feet all day at a restaurant preparing food but not being able to eat or drink anything.

I hope Jamal has a good trip home!

This made me laugh too, we've had a few of those breaking the fast in a parking lot or in the car moments in the last couple of years. Adnan went to Morocco last year for Ramadan and was really happy he did it but so far so good this year.....

Isn't Ramadan a religious holiday meant for worship and reflecting on one's life? How is it someone can't do this wherever they happen to be?

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

HI everyone on this fine Wednesday. I have a question...I fell down a flight of stairs and pulled about every muscle in my body. I hurt literally everywhere. I haven't taken medicine coz I don't wanna break my fast (mainly coz making it up in the end royally sucks). Should I break fast and get comfortable by way of medicine or will I get extra points if I tough it out the rest of the day? anyone know the answer? :help::help::help:

I think you are confusing Islam with Weight Watchers.
