guyss plz help. being a graduate student.. i made less than 10, 000 dollars last yr. i am having my dad fill the I-134 along with mine. my parents filed jointly, and they are three in the family- mom, dad, and my brother(dependent) so when looking at the poverty guidelines... how would i calculate the family size? plzz help i am desperate.

Thats correct. Your family size would become 5 ==> 3 (your parents and a dependent brother) + 2 (you and your SO).

Then according to 2007 Poverty Guidelines income chart, the total minimum income would need to exceed $30,162.
