I've been reading some other questions to include everyone that lives in your address as part of it... The situation is that I am sponsoring my wife. However my mother, my father, brother lives with me at the same house. Do those count as "other dependents?" I am confused by what this means. On some topics, some people have been getting RFE's to not include *ALL* people living at the house (despite what 'dependent' definition by legal law means).... hmmm...

they way I interpret it, they would be included in household size if their income was being included in the I-864 or you reported them as a dependant on your federal tax return. if not, your household size would be2, you and your wife. not completlysure,. we'll see what others think...

household size from I-864 instructions;

Your household size includes yourself and the following individuals, no matter where they live: any spouse, any dependent children under the age of 21, any other dependents listed on your most recent Federal income tax return, all persons being sponsored in this affidavit of support, and any immigrants previously sponsored with a Form I-864 or Form I-864 EZ affidavit of support whom you are still obligated to support. If necessary to meet the income requirements to be asponsor, you may include additional relatives (adult children,parents, or siblings) as part of your household size as long asthey have the same principle residence as you and promise to use their income and resources in support of the intending immigrant(s).
