I'm in the process of completing my I-864ez packet and I wante to run it by the experts.. :yes: You guys are great!!

So far I have this:

  • 2006 Federal Tax Return
  • 2006 Tax Transcript
  • 2005 Tax Transcript
  • 2004 Tax Transcript
  • ITIN Letter from IRS
  • 2006 W2
  • Employment Letter
  • 8 Bank statements (ranges from 10/06 - 8/07)
  • Pay stubs (2/07-9/07)

I'm I missing anything? I can't find a few bank statement but is this enough? I really don't want to pay for the others.

06/01/07 - Faxed change of address request to NVC

06/08/07 - NVC confirmed new address

06/18/07 - DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) & AOS (I-864) Fee Bill generated

06/23/07 - Recv'd DS-3032 & AOS Bill via snail mail

07/09/07 - Emailed DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) to NVC

07/19/07 - Mailed AOS Fee Bill ($70) to St. Louis, MO

07/19/07 - Recv'd email from NVC - Choice of Agent was accepted

07/23/07 - IV (DS-230) Fee Bill was generated

08/11/07 - Recv'd IV Fee Bill via snail mail

08/15/07 - Recv'd AOS Packet in the mail

Does the I-864EZ indicate asset data like bank statements? It does not.

I-864 EZ only requires past year's IRS data (Either (1040/W2/1099) OR Simple IRS Transcript)

Optional for I-864EZ are 2 additional past year's IRS Data, employer letter, and pay-stubs.

In our case this what the I-864 included.

  • I-864EZ.

  • SIMPLE Tax transcripts from the IRS for past 3 years, (Redundant for the (1040,W2,1099) but are free from the IRS http://www.irs.gov/faqs/faq1-6.html

  • Photo copy of IRS form 1040, and W2s for past 3 years (Not necessary if you provide the transcripts)

  • Letter from my employer stating annual salary, job responsibility, and that is full time, on company letterhead.

  • Photo copies of past month or so of pay stubs up to a few weeks before the petition filing.

The 3 check boxes at the beginning of I-864, one of them indicates if you use asset data like bank statements that you will need to use the regular I-864 form

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Hello Anna. Looks good! :thumbs:

However, you do not need to include your 2006 Tax Returns and 2006 W2s if you already have your tax transcripts for the last 3 years. Bank statements are optional too, however I864EZ is to be used only if you rely on your salary income, no assets (in your case bank statements) included.

2007-02-22 **I-130 Sent to VSC

2007-07-02 **I-130 APPROVED at USCIS- CSC

2007-10-10 **CASE COMPLETED at NVC

2007-11-15 **INTERVIEW DATE. APPROVED at USEM!!!

USA

2007-12-02 **Arrival from MNL to JFK (NYC)

2007-12-10 **Visit to SSA

Agree with the others. It looks good. Overkill on the statements but yeah it's more than enough!

Rina is right about the 2006 Tax (return) transcripts being enough. Mine was still being processed at the time so I sent in a copy of the return+W2.

02/17/2007 - I-130 Express Mailed to VSC via USPS. (ETA 2/19/2007)

02/22/2007 - I-130 received by VSC.

06/12/2007 - NOA2 approval email received!!!

06/15/2007 - NOA2 letter received in the mail.

NVC

06/19/2007 - NVC receives case and assigns a case number!

08/27/2007 - CASE COMPLETE!!!!

09/06/2007 - Case forwarded to Sydney

09/14/2007 - Wife receives Packet 3. Received NVC letter confirming case forward to Sydney.

10/26/2007 - Interview - VISA GRANTED!!!!! WOOO WOOO!!!!!!

11/18/2007 - Enter the US via LAX (POE). No issues thankfully. 20 minutes of processing.

11/30/2007 - Welcome letter (two of them) received.

12/19/2007 - CR-1 Green Card received.

USCIS - I-751

09/23/2009 - Express Mailed Removal of Conditions application

09/24/2009 - USPS confirmed delivery to VSC

09/29/2009 - Check cashed by USCIS

10/01/2009 - Received NOA I-797C dated 09/25/2009

10/10/2009 - Received Biometric appt letter for 10/29/2009

10/29/2009 - Biometrics taken. Whole process took about 40 min including the wait

12/22/2009 - Approved for ROC!

01/08/2010 - Received text and email: Card production ordered

01/15/2010 - Received Green Card in the mail!

USCIS - N-400

04/22/2011 - Express Mailed Application for Naturalization

04/27/2011 - Check cashed by USCIS

04/28/2011 - Received NOA I-797C dated 04/26/2011

05/27/2011 - Biometrics taken. Process took approx 35 min with wait

07/29/2011 - Received Interview Appt letter scheduled for 09/01/2011 dated 07/26/2011

09/01/2011 - Interview and Oath. Now a USC! The VJ is over!

Hubby and I got married on 3/28/2006 (The best day of our lives)

Filed I-130 on 8/31/2006. Sent via overnight mail to Vermont Service Center

Got 1st NOA I-130 with receipt date of 9/10/2006.

Registered on line at USCIS.GOV for case status updates

Got an email from USCIS stating that on 6/13/2007 my I-130 was approved and that an approval notice was sent to me in the mail. On 6/19/2007 the NVC received my case

7/7/2007 Received AOS fee bill and Choice of Agent Form

7/9/2007 overnighted $70 fee check to NVC and hubby sent Agent/address email to NVC

7/23/2007 AOS packet and DS230 fee bill generated

8/6/2007 RECEIVED AOS packet 8/7/07 Overnighted AOS packet with supporting docs to NVC..8/10 Received Visa Fee bill 8/13/2007 overnighted $380 certified check to NVC

8/21 AOS reviewed and processed. Fee bill received and processed!

8/24/2007 Got letter from NVC stating they are missing DS-230 and instructions to download DS-230 /and mail to NVC.8/27/2007 mailed overnight to NVC with all docs.

9/12/2207 CASE COMPLETED...

10/15/2007 WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW 11/16/2007 YIPEEEEEEEE

11/16/2007 APPROVED...will update on details later

11/28/2007 Visa sent to AirPak from Embassy

11/30 MY HONEY IS HERE...THANK GOD FOR THSSE BLESSINGS!!!WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY..

12/24/2007 My Husband's SS Card arrived in the mail...Right in time for Christmas....It took quite a long time

2/6/2008 My Husbands Green Card arrives in the mail......Hip Hip Hooray....
