The point is they were both committing to meeting someone else in person. At that point it would be cheating. The intent was there.

I agree with Gary...cheating isn't just a physical endeavor. In fact, it's the emotional aspect of it that would crush me more than anything.

Even though I kept in communication with some women right up until we decided to become engaged. Did I do it after that? No, because, to me, it is wrong. But I don't see it as cheating. I have never been one to subscribe to the theory that the thought is just the same as the act. It is not!

This is why it is critical to be on the same page with your fiancee and anyone important in your life. If you define cheating as any consistent flirtatious contact with another human being, while she defines cheating as intercourse, but kissing, oral, and other stuff is just for fun, then that would be a big, big problem.

I'm not saying the thought is the same as the act, what I'm saying is developing an emotional bond with someone you're not physical with is not something to scoff at. Many people here made the decision to start this vj based on the strength of the emotional connection.

Of course we all have our own definition of what constitutes fidelity....if I found out that my boo was talkin to other women right up til our engagement...omG, there'd be hell on.
