Hi Everyone,

so I just went to the USCIS page and they have posted an update effective September 15th, they are now processing apps with dates of March 15th, I think I was more at ease when they said 6 months because it meant six months or less. My receipt date was June, so what the hell! Guess I will see my fiance next year!

Hey! VSC still says 6 months for a K1. You are right though. I like seeing 6 months rather than the date of the petitions they are working on. Anywhoo.....waiting is waiting is waiting. It's hard to be patient in this process, but I'm trying very hard. Thank goodness we have each other to commiserate with. My friends and family are not enjoying hearing me fuss about the wait and missing him. I'm sure they're glad I found this place. We can vent together!

Well is t here is any concilation to all this, I just check out of curiousity at the USCIS site, and it is still saying that my petition is pending and was submitted March 22. I have been approved and almost to the completion with NVC.. So they really need to have someone up date, as I have msgs saying they update he site....But then thinking if they have someone do this, it might take them away from working on some loveones petition... Sorry just wanted to put my two cents in to this that. Should also say that I notified by snail mail of approval not online, even tho I opt for this...

So I tried the RFE trick the lady told me they are processing aps from Feb 15th, I said, um, your CSC website now says March 15th. She said I did not have any RFE's but I still do not have my case assigned either.hmmmm, well my attorney led me to believe that once it is assigned, it gets looked at. She told me to call back in 30 days, yadda yadda and see if it has been assigned yet...hurrumph..oh well going to Sweden next week for 5 days, but this will be the last time I say him until god knows when:)

Seems like it's useless calling USCIS. People at the phone have no clue what's going on behind doors. We'll just have to wait and hope for the best.
