I called Washington yesterday, asked again about what to do of my fiance's 221g that he got. Our case is being sent back to USCIS. Now this is what she said" they believe you and they don't believe him.

Tell me how do they believe me? I was not there............. The only thing I had that the interviewer could have seen about me was the statement I wrote that was sent with the I-129F. I wrote practically the same he wrote, how we met, when we saw each other in person, and that I went to see him in Janaury. So how can they believe me? I don't understand. Does anyone know?

They said he did not write his statement but she asked him to prove his handwriting. The girl I think was Kim, she was rude, talked fast and he tried to answer what he understood.

He did his best but don't you think people are terrified to walk into an US Embassy, and be intimitated

by these people?

I have written them two times. Waiting for answer. Also, the lady in Washington says why don't I go over there, get married and come back here and apply for I-130. We as i am sure others, have spent a lot of time, effort and money (that some don't have) to get our loved ones here. Why should I go there, get married and he still can't come back with me. I am at wit's end of this. If I move there, I have to sell my house, car and furniture. You know that selling houses right now is not good. It could take a while, and also I have a 92 year old mother in an assisted living place. I cannot leave her while she is still alive.

She could live to be 100. Who knows?

HELPPPPPPPPPPPP tell me please any input you have................

Thanks

Im sure you will find out everything once it is back at USCIS.

and as for what i bolded, most are not, my husband walked in with confidence and breezed right thru the interview. yes it was romania and not morocco, but reassure him for next time. he will be nervous, thats normal, but terrified he shouldnt be. i wonder if they sence the fear and feed on it like vampires

as far as them believing you and not him, you werent at the interview, he may have said something that didnt correspond with what you had written. even a date that was off could have made them not believe him. i do hope things work out soon for you. good luck

You need to take immediate action to get a congressional inquiry and try to prevent the case from being returned.

VJ member Chiquita and Kiya are very helpful advising with returned petitions. There is a pinned topic in the mena forum with excellent information.
