I predict you get your case complete on October 8, it will be forwarded to UK embassy in a week after that and you will get a late November Interview...

We'll see how good of a fortune teller I am :P

I'd recommend you to keep your job (and even find the strenght to make an extra effort!).

*God forbid, there's any delays in your case, how much worse would it be if money is tight? - besides, there's so many expenses with moving to another country

*Ask your boss for a letter of recommendation, it can help you a lot when you're looking for that first job in the US

*The smaller the gap in your employment is, even if there's a valid reason like moving to another country and waiting for the green card, the better is going to look in your resume.

Take a deep breath

Thanks, so you guys reckon i could be back for december? i hope so :)

Hey NP!

I'm with you there on the going crazy bit! Arrrrrrrrrrr.............!

We've just handed in our I-864; I see a day after yours and the DS-230 was handed previously so the closing of our case should be at similar timing. :)

However, I have read in our Aussie string that people there are getting interviews in Sydney December/January! Mostly due to the APEC meeting that shut the Embassy down for a few weeks so there must be a backlog if they are booking three months ahead instead of one month as per usual. My fingers are crossed though that they move through quicker than expected and/or that there is a cancellation but at the moment we planning for me to go over for a visit at Christmas.

Hopefully your embassy is quicker....

Cheers,

Pris.
