Based on my experience, The CO nor prescreener didnt ask for affidavit of support but CO did ask me what is my fiance's (now my hubby) work and my educational background. I offered him that affidavit of support but he refused and i was told to keep it for my AOS, i got my visa 4 days after my interview, though sometimes they say that we are approved there are instances that we might get our visa in 2 weeks or so coz of what they call "further review"...dont worry sistah im sure u will have your visa soon just try to keep in touch with the embassy. Goodluck!

Hey yah!

Your post is very interesting.. Its very strange that they dont ask your affidavit of support, which they usually do.

Im not quite sure also if you're on AR,

when the w37 told you about the affidavit of support and saying that they gonna review your paper you should have hand it to him/her if you have it with you, but yeah embassy is sometimes dont pay attention anyway after they say their words., now the best thing you can do is make your fiance call the embassy, for follow up and ask why this things happen. The embassy will give you the right answer and im sure this will help to your worries.

My wifes had been to AR, coz they says lack of documents but then again.. they dont ask for any documents back.. they just send her visa after a month.. Really strange huh? Manila is soo busy thats why I guess they sometimes not pay attention a lot..

Good Luck for this!

Ask him to call as many times he could, and keep posting.. this will help for the other in the future..

i find it strange too coz when i was interviewed by the filipino pre-screener at first she asked the affidavit of support but when she find the affidavit in the original petition she then told me never mind this one will do. And when i had an interview with the CO she never asked for it too, but when i was at w37 the lady incharge was the one asking for it and told me they will still review my papers but the good thing she didnt give me a letter stating wait till you hear from us. I only got the appt. letter with the pink slip she then told me to pay delbros and go home right after. Has anyone experienced like what i've been through? Am so confused now....
