Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew what month is being called in for a waiver appointment. I hope my husband gets approved, I miss him very much. My husband came from Mexico to the USA without inspection and lived here for five years. He has a clean police record and, has never been deported. The only hardships I mentioned on the I-601 were our financial debts and for medical, I mentioned the importance that I seek treatment for a possible pregnancy. Can someone please comment and help me

Has your husband had the first interview yet? Did you file for K3 or only I-130?

CDJ has a pilot program running now, you make an InfoPass appointment 2 days or more after your first interview to submit the waiver. It is reviewed while you wait. If approved, you get the visa that day. If not approved, it is sent to the backlog for further review and you have the chance to submit more evidence to support your hardships. The current wait on the backlog is about 8-10 months.

Have a look at the approved 601 letters on www.immigrate2us.net.

There are tons of filers for Mexico there.

As TracyTN so aptly pointed out, there are certainly other credible sites on the internet that offer a wealth of information on waivers; www.immigrate2us.net and www.britishexpats.com, just to name a few. Nothing surpasses correct information from someone with first hand experience. Please look around and research how to best proceed with your individual immigration process by gathering as much information as possible.

I can't speak to her lurking habits, of course.
