hi,

i have a question regarding the i-134 form. and i don't know if anyone else has a similar dilemma. for question 1, i was born outside the US to a USC parent. i never had a citizenship cert. Will a copy of my passport and/or copy of my consular report of birth abroad be sufficient? if so, do i need to accompany a letter for this?

thanks,

jeff

If you had read the instructions for the petitions, you would know the answer is that a copy of all pages of your passport is sufficient evidence of US Citizenship. Please read the instructions and guides.

Your timeline and profile indicates you are pursuing a CR-1 visa, what are you takling about I-134 for? I-134 is for NON-Immigrant visas like K-1 and K-3. Should you not be doing the I-864?

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

i know this was the instruction for the i-130 form. i did not see that specific instruction regarding the i-134 form nor is it written on the form's instruction page.

can you point me to the URL showing that info? thanks!

hi,

i do not know how to show both timelines. I decided to show the cr1 timeline since that was the one that was moving along but k3 application was approved 2 weeks ago.

Because one must prove their US Citizenship to obtain a US passport in their name, a copy of a valid US passport is always sufficient proof of US Citizenship.

As the petitioner, approval of I-129F and I-130 petitions you submitted is further proof that USCIS accepts that you are a US Citizen.
