Listen i was at the point that you were in at one time...and 119 days into it is completely different because you begin to realize how they keep you in the dark and there is nothing we could do about it...

for the time it's taking them to even send me my first NOA, I'm getting a pretty good idea

as for your NOA1...have you checked through your bank if the check got cashed??

Keep checking through the bank cuz USCIS is in no rush to let you know...when it does get cashed, look at the back of the check, the case number will be stamped on it ..it begins with the letters EAC...Stay on top of it cuz they dont

... how do I look at the back of the check? doesn't it stay in the bank where it is deposited? or does payments in check work differently in the USA? (my husband probably knows about this)

we can just send the I-129F as soon as it gets cashed, right? We dont have to wait for the NOA1 to arrive...

how come people are being approved that are further ahead of me? I don't understand... congratulations to them , nonetheless, but that is NOT FAIR... just because I applied during April when they F**** up their system, it means we have to wait for longer times than normal?? This is stupid :angry: this is beyond stupid... at least with being stupid you actually try to do something... they probably can't even organize their sock drawer, those lazy bunch of @#(#@($*... :devil: :devil:... :bonk:

I feel your frustration gogo and it's good to be able to vent here, I wouldn't call it bitching like some others have said to you. Let them get into the 150+ days without any touches and see if they don't start venting about things either.

I guess we are all frustrated and thats why posting messages on this forum :lol: , this is surely a good way to share the frustration with other people so cmon guys, write how u feel , think that pisses me off most is how being a citizen we are treated by USCIS....

9-12 months to be with your spouse , cmon gimme a break ...atleast f....g let them come on a tourist visa or somethign and wait here, u have all the information about the petitioner, so no scare of someone staying illegally .....

just some common sense and things can be lot easy for everyone ....

what pisses me off the most is that while they are making us go through this, you have 12 million illegal imigrants in the country, and you keep giving them all sorts of rights and permissions

Im not too familiar with the i130 process...i know that i have internet access to my account and they have images of the front and back of my checks after they are cashed.

OK OK, you are starting to feel the frustration..lol...believe me i started very quiet and calm , then got extremely stressed, then decided to read and prepare for the interview, you know have all my papers and stuff needed ready, and now , 119 days later im back to stressed!!!

As far as the approval times are concerned ,none of it seems fair. Something truly out of the ordinary happened to me. I think the customer service rep. took pity on me because after 180 days without a touch ( and seeing the other March filers moving on ) I finally decided to call about mine. Knowing I wouldn't get any firm answers I wound up talking to her about other things besides petitions, and I stayed friendly and upbeat on the phone to her. The next day I had one approval and the day after that the other one came in. I'm sure she must have had somebody pull my file and ask an adjudicator to look at it. I wish I had gotten her name because a delivery of flowers would have been a great thank you to her.

Yeah thats your case number...the one that starts with the letters EAC and followed by a set of numbers...with this number you can register to the USCIS website and track your case...they also give you the option to link your e mail so that you get notified when something happens...basically if your file gets approved...i havent gotten anything since i registered, but at least its something to help the time pass, gives you something to check every day

Elbereth's number will probably start with WAC - they filled in Nebraska and Nebraska will transfer the petition to California.

Gogo, I can understand your frustration, and at the 2 month level with no touches, I'm starting to feel it myself. It doesn't seem fair, and the "why" behind it is all a mystery, so it's even more frustrating. I hope you get your approval soon. Hang in there.

yes.. thanks everyone for their kind words This is a good place to finally let off some steam... but I'm going to call them today and complain about those approvals that were ahead of us.. or at least complain about mine too.. like I said in other posts before.. they are doing even the temporary workers as well as the K1 people first.. because their "evidence" is a lot faster to sift through.. so it earns them more "revenue" per person compared to K3.. that is totally unfair to us.. we are US Citizens and should be higher (not top, but at least higher) priority... at least they should devote the same timeframe to each kind of application (but that probably goes back to my point about "revenue" --- they can approve 100 K1s in the time to approve 10 K3s... ) :crying:

Elbereth, did you get to see your case number at least? It is usually a stamp on the back of the check.. You can request a copy of the check from your bank It usually has EAC, WAC, or (not sure of the 3rd one)... this allows you to create an account online at USCIS.gov and track it (or email too to you if something comes up... like approval or any changes to your case)..

good luck to MelissaHassan, nksj, and BYRON-LEIDY hopefully our approvals will come soon enough.. I probably know what they are going to say... I haven't reach the 180 day mark yet.. it is based on my I-130 NOA1.. but you know what happened?? I got the I-130 NOA1 on May 29 (1+ month later) and it didn't have a RECEIVED DATE or NOTICED DATE... I'm going to grill them so bad it hurts...
