GUYS. Pushbrk suggested that I ask this questioon on the forum. Well I am having my parents have an I-134 filled out for my husband. Their individual incomes are below the 2007 poverty guidelines but together their income is fine. they do file their tax together, and they are both joint owners of the house and everything. so how should i go about filing the I-134. a separate I-134 from both my parents, or a combined I-134. plzz help. i have to send this off to my husband this week.

They each have to fill out a separate form as there isn't a way to combine their information on the form. And they should each report their own income on their own form rather than both reporting their combined income on each form.

The question I would ask is whether it's okay to have multiple joint sponsors on the I-134. Is there something about that in the instructions for the form? I haven't read them before as I'm doing the immigrant visa process.

Mostly to bump this, you've hit on the question I'm not sure of. I've been under the impression that one single sponsor must have sufficient income for an I-134 but household income is accomodated on the I-186. I've just never dealt with this kind of situation on a K visa but it can't be that rare.

If you want your mom's income included, she would have to have a separate I-134. If your dad's income along with their assets are sufficient, then it would be fine if only your dad filled out the form.

EDIT - Oh, and also what you read about a household member's income being included must have been referring to the I-864, which is for immigrant visas. There isn't any place on the I-134 to include a household member's income.
