This is my 52nd post of the day. Though not really since for me the new day started almost 2 hours ago. When does the day reset for VJ anyway? Anyway, this post should be the one to change my status to platinum so now I can go to sleep.

How many posts do I need to have to become platinum??

I've always wondered...... :unsure:

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

Anything special I can do with platinum??

I believe you can add a custom member title which will show underneath your avatar. Go to My Controls and Edit Profile Information. :star:

That is what I thought, but there is no option for it in my control panel.

How the heck do you know if you are gold .. platinum or other...

where is it that I can look up the levels?

I think gold might have been 500 posts. Platinum is 750. If you look near your avatar you will see boxes and above it yours says members .. for others that says gold or platinum ... etc

It's a big VJ secret. Shhh!

I honestly don't know why but it's not officially posted anywhere when and how your member status changes. I do know that 750 posts equals platinum membership and every 1000 posts gets you a widdle heart in a widdle square.

How do you know how many post you have done?

When you click on My Controls (Next to View New Posts - My Assistant - New Messages up top), amd check your Account Summary, it'll show the number of posts you have.
