Interview Sept. 10

My gilr have not got her visa until now, it's been a week already. Some of her co-interviewer got there visa on hand last Friday. I hope she not on AR for a long time since I'm going to pick her up this coming Oct. and aI can't re schdule my vacation. She told me that the consoul was very nice. She also told me that after the interview the CO told her to pay for DELBROS and got a Pink slip. CO did say pass or will be on AR?

Do any one else have Sept. 10 interview and have not got thier visa too? Hope this week she'll get it.

There can be several things causing the dely including the workload of the interviewing officer. You could call the embassy to see what is happening. The lady at ext. 5184 was just wonderful to deal with for us. Where is your fiancee located? Claudeth is from Cagayan on Mindanao so it took an extra day to get the visa down there. Good luck

I got our visa today, interview was last Sept. 11, where does ur fiancee lives? Have you checked delbros tracking site? Sometimes it is not working but keep on trying, last fri/sat i saw ours (k1/k2) already in distribution center and as expected, i got it today. Site will also tell you if embassy have released the visa to the courier. or Call USEM if you cant get info from the site

I hope she'll get it this week or sooner.She's from Makati. I plan to buy her ticket today but I can't until she has her visa on hand which is we don't know. I'll pick up my ticket today for my trip and probably I'll just buy her tiicket at P.I when I'm there.

It is a great idea to wait until you get there to buy the ticket. I sent Claudeth the money and she was able to get the ticket to LAX for about $150 less than what I could find.

I'm still going to P.I no matter what since I can't cancell my vacation, just hoping that she'll get it before Oct. 14 so that we'll both leave together that day.

If she lives in Makati... usually for Makati and Manila areas, visa is delivered in 3-days.

CO don't usually say if you're approved or will be placed on AR, unless you asked after your interview if you are approved.

You should call Lorraine at this number: 632-528-6300 loc./ext. 5184. Also it is better for the foreign fiance/spouse to call and ask for updates because they get better response from USEM personels.

Yes, finally my girl got her VISA yesterday P.I time. Now I'm preparing for my trip next week.

Thanks to all the VJ, all the helps and inputs got us to the next step. Next step is EAD and AOS.

My POE was at SFO (May 2, 2007) and it was a breeze. There's a line for "NEW IMMIGRANTS" and a line for USC. The lady at the Immgration is a very nice Filipina (Bisaya) lady and it only took only about 5 minutes. She took my Visa Envelop. She took out a Form, asked me to signed it took my fingerprint (Right index finger). She gave me a form to read at home (for CR-1). She also told me that my visa with her stamp is my temporary GC until my GC arrives. She told me I can go and apply for my SSN and driver's license. She gave me a warm Welcome to the US. Very nice lady indeed. She did not take my CXR plates, and she even told me I can keep it or throw it away and she laughed.
