Hi

I have been calling and calling and calling, and my case on the auto line still says it is not there. My fiance says he has the letter, however we have not even had time to talk about it, because due to the business, we are too busy....I have not received anything from NVC though. Nothing. They said they sent a letter, but I never got it, so I asked for another. But wasn't I supposed to get a bill?

I am confused.

Hi Bobbie,

Can you please give a few more details. What letter did NVC say they sent and what bill were you expecting?

The NVC should have sent you a letter with your case number. Do you have your case number? You will have to pay for the beneificary's physical and also for the interview at the embassy. Each embassy varies in price. Good luck

I had the same thing happen. For a K-1 you have to talk to a real person, it will never show up on the automated system. I received a letter from the embassy in Ankara about a month after it was sent to them with the case number but NEVER anything from NVC.

First of all you will have to talk to a real person as belinda63 said above, the petitions usually leave the service center so fast that they dont even make it to the automated system.

The petioner recieves a letter and the beneificary does not get anything from the NVC

If you are the ben. wait for pack3 and nothing else, the embassy will send it to you.

The NVC should have sent you a letter with your case number. Do you have your case number? You will have to pay for the beneificary's physical and also for the interview at the embassy. Each embassy varies in price. Good luck

It does not matter who pays for the interview or medical, usually the beneificary pays for that themselv.

Medical costs: here in Germany 120-130 Euros depending on where you are from

Interview costs:80 Euros

Thank you everyone. I am the USC. For whatever reason I thought when the NVC sent the case to Germany they would send me a bill for the ..whatever. I think I am confused with the AOS bill people are talking about. So, the case is in Germany (hopefully it doesn't expire too soon), and Klaus needs to do his medical, criminal ect. When it is complete, call in and make the appointment and we go from there.

I'm now very concerned about the income, because again, completely self employed and still working on taxes with the accountants.

Ahhh if life were easier would it be as much fun? YES!
