when i had my medical exam last thurs-Sept 13, I was asked how many times i got pregnant..& the doctor also asked me if that pregnancy gave me a normal delivery..

For sure they will ask you the same question.. & they will ask you if the baby is alive (on that pregnancy)..if you had miscarriage, just tell them you had once..i dont think that will be ground for denial..

from what ive seen in the SLEC..theres a lot of posters with regards to TB -tubercolosis. & from what ive seen in the threads here in the forum..the two major reasons for denial or subject for prior review are drugs & TB (respectively)..

hope this enlighten you in some way..

goodluck!

Not much of a problem with the miscarriage but the scar on your wrist can be major!

Best is to do as skyblue06 mentioned and take the medical WAY early [2 months] in case you have problems.

a scar on the wrist is a high issue for them. every girl that i know who went to st. lukes have been check if they have a scar on their wrist or not even if its just an accidental scar ( like your wrist caught in barbwire and got a scar from it ) they will still ask you why it happened, how it happened and even let you have an appointment for psych evaluation to make sure you're telling the truth... they asked me what happened to every scar that i got , good thing nothing on my wrist... i wish you luck  and God bless!!!

ps...

as for the miscarriage im not sure they will know it or not since they will check it down there but doc helen can answer it way better than i am

You may not have to disclose your miscarriage, that is your prerogative. If you decide to admit, they will refer you for a Psych evaluation.

But regarding you scar on the wrist -> this will be a bit of a problem. This will surely make them refer you for a Psych evaluation anyway... You will be under the category of : PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DISORDERS WITH ASSOCIATED HARMFUL BEHAVIOR. Evaluation is REQUIRED.

For the evaluation, the Specialist/Psychiatrist will need to assess you and "should" place you under "CATEGORY B" (CAtegory A is not good) -> in which they will put their diagnosis, description of the harmful behavior and the reasons for judging that behavior is not likely to recur. Once you get this category, then the Panel Physician can "CLEAR" you. Only if the Psych Specialist is convinced that the behavior will not recur and that you will not be a "threat" to your self or anyone else in the future, then they can give the clearance. If the Psych will not be convince and will think the behavior is likely to recur (a threat to self and society/others), the only way they can clear you will be either to refer you for a "therapy" or if they decide to clear you, they may recommend that you will need further evaluation and treatment/therapy in the US. You will really have to convince them, that you are over it, that you know now that what you did was wrong and you regret it, etc...

If they will refer you for such evaluation, of course, they will ask you the "reason" for the behavior and if this is related to your miscarriage, then you will have to tell them before hand that you had the miscarriage so there will be no discrepancy on your medical records. And since this referral and evaluations takes time (they may ask you to come back several times or depends on the availability of the Specialist), then you will have to get a very early medical exam and like what beckypua recommended, have it at least 2 months before your interview schedules.

Good Luck!

The Dr. checked both of my wrists while I was lying on the clinic bed. She also noticed my birthmark at my back. That means she's observant.
