hi yeall. need some help here. :unsure:

can i file the 131 (Application for Travel Document) before being a conditional resident? cause ive read itll take 3mos to be approved and i need to get back to the phils before the first acad semester.

as a CR, how long can i stay in the philippines with all the appoved 131? will it affect the my future naturalization purposes?

If you filed for AOS after the fee increase you can file a I-131 for free if you include a copy of your NOA1 for the AOS.

You may get the GC before you get AP aproval tho unless you can get the AP process time expedited.

Don't know how long the I-131 is good for. It would be much better to wait for the GC.

You can stay up to six months without effecting the physical presence time in the US requirement for naturalization.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

un/luckily, we filed the aos before the increase. accdg to the instructions of the 131... A reentry permit issued to a conditional resident shall be valid for two years from the date ofissuance, or to the date the conditional resident mustapply for removal of the conditions on his or herstatus, whichever date comes first. but it just doesnt state whether you preserve your naturalization rights. the N-470 does but its all employment-related.
