What to expect at Point of Entry?

Hello Folks,

My fiancé has her entry visa in her hand and will be entering the US (at O'Hare airport in Chicago) in early November. My question is this: What should she expect upon entering the country? We've been told that immigration officials with "interview" her upon her arrival at the airport.

Any helpful details to offer?

they'll just ask her a few questions and she's to have her medical papers and x-ray with her..

and allow for lots of time for all the paperwork

It took 15 min for me to go through this.

I delivered my passport and the brown sealed envelope.

I was told that they are not interested in the x-rays, I should just keep it in my luggage.

They didn't ask for them.

The officer gave me an application and instructions for a workpermit and told me to make sure I did this within 90 days from my arrival.

And then the nice officer said. Welcome to America
