MySpace has presented a problem for me. My daughter (not actually old enough to join Myspace) lied about her age and created a user account. She left the "Save password on this computer" checked so it allowed me to ask to be one of her friends and accept the invitation at the same time. As a friend of hers I can read what she writes in her semi-public journal. Sometimes I'm a little shocked- I mean, I didn't even know she had a boyfriend and recently I discovered that they broke up. There's a bunch of info there, but I'm wondering how I would ever confront her if with something I knew (like what a foul mouth she has when talking with her friends) without being yelled at for spying on her. So far I am trying to remember that when I was 13 I was worse than her and nobody knew about it. By the way she has about 100 friends so I blend in unnoticed on page 2.

If that's the worst your daughters doing, I say you let it go. The moment you read about her doing drugs or doing something criminal/illegal, time to step in and be dad.
