Just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why CSC may transfer an I-129F application for K-3/already married visa to a local office? I have heard on the other forums that it is quite unusual for them to do this and nobody seems to know why this is done. My I-129F was transferred by my I-130 is still showing as pending at CSC and obviously, I sent the I-130 off before the I-129F. Clueless in Columbia

I imagine because CSC is way overloaded with petitions because of so many people filing to beat the fee increase.

I never seen that happen either.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

yeah, that is what has me a little worried. i initially thought it was a good thing too because CSC is so backed up, but one or two other VJers have told me its most likely that they don't believe the validity of the marriage or petition and they want to do more investigating or conduct a personal interview. however, i don't see what is wrong with our case. my wife has been to the U.S. legally (its how we met), never been in trouble, never overstayed. I really hope its like you said, that they just want to dump some of the petitions because they're so backed up. God, lets hope so...
