Calling USCIS, I am confused!!!

Thanks for all replies, Yep, I chaned address online and USCIS sent an address confirmation letter but I didnt get any welcome letter and approval notice since it has been sent to adress on Sep 5th, I waited for maybe it will be in mailbox in one week but nothing!! I seriously started to worry about they sent welcome notice and approval notice to old address, well... I contacted people who lives in my old address they said they didnt get anything from USCIS with my name on it. so I think the letters USCIS sent they probably all returned back. I tried to call USCIS costumer service but it confused me, which number on the menu should I dial for ask someone which address they have on their systems, because it says dial... for ask questions on your case, dial... for if you didnt get your welcome notice in 30 days, dial for...if you didnt get your GC in 60 days, dial..for request for change of address. I am totally confused. Should I dial number on the menu about request to change of address?

Hi! I had a similar situation and frustration. I changed addresses & our cases are still pending but the status can not be checked online. I would call USCIS selecting the prompts for "RFE" When I finally made it through all the cues and was talking to a live person I would just tell them that I needed to check the status. Sometimes the would ask me name, address, and birthdate to confirm before answering any questions. Address was an inconsistent question. One time when, I straight out asked to confirm my address, they told me something about not being able to confirm my own adress because it was private information! I ended up going to an Infopass appointment.

Thanks for reply, thats what I heard from people they say its not helpfull to call and get info through USCIS costumer service. Some says If mail returns to USCIS then they search for change of adress in their database then they mail notices and GC to new address. Hopefully!
