In Europe and the rest of the 'developed' world I'd say that's generally true.

"People overseas" are not one big morass of homogenous opinion.

I also don't believe the rest of the developed world really gives a ###### about Madoga or Britney. Whereas many in other more traditional nations view people like Britney and Madonna as a plague on their society. I am sure if we went to the middle east and asked around about Britney and Madoga, many would have the same view as the OP. Maybe not the beheading part but would mist likely have the same opinion of her.

Abdel-Al rants, "If I meet these whores I will have the honor--I repeat, I will have the honor--to be the first one to cut the heads off Madonna and Britney Spears if they will keep spreading their Satanic culture against Islam."

He continued, "If these two prostitutes keep doing what they are doing, we of course will punish them."

Britney and her style of music are much more popular in the US than abroad.

In all fairness Madonna has cleaned up her act and taken the vocal trance route with her music. Which is popular in Europe..

Ultimately – the guy quoted in the article is just one ignorant guy making ignorant claims that highlight his lack of education and the simplistic views resulting from it. Nothing particularly unique about it – certainly given the part of the world he is from, and that the ‘troubles’ over there thrive on ignorance, anger and misunderstanding I’d say he’s not probably not untypical.

That said – ignorant people aren’t unique either, wherever you live.

Difficult???, since the country is smaller than some states in the US and they have been there for 4 years and still found nothing and they have arrested practicaly everyone from the former bhathist party including deserters of some who gained safe havens in the US and UK and they still could not find them. I would safely say there isnt any there. Also I might add there were some 150 inspectors in Iraq. That would be like me saying the US nerve gassed the Iraqi's... I just havent found the evidence yet....lol... yes it is absured isnt it. Nice how you dodge the chemical question.

third point - white phosphorous is not considered to be a chemical weapon. a chemical weapon is something along the lines of nerve agent, blister agent, and so on.

we'll just have to differ on many of those points, but concerning white phosphorous - here's a quote from wikipedia, aka the number 6 reference system
