POE Question

Now I know that this will probably be a dumb question, but does it really matter

where your Port of Entry (POE)is located? I ask such because, traveling out of

NYC is $600 cheaper, and when I return my POE will be JFK, NYC. My question

is that my Local USCIS center is located in Detroit, MI, will having my POE in

NYC impact my case in anyway? Or is it better if I change my POE so that I

arrive in Detroit MI. Thanks for any helpful responses.

Your POE could be located at your local airport anywhere in the world.... not necessarily on US soil. No, it does not matter which POE you enter from.

i believe it doesn't matter what port of entry you are going to as long as it has an immigration office .. well i think most of them do .
