I thought these two individuals were the only ones ever thrown off a plane for being too sexy.

Not sure why it didn't save as a jpeg...I renamed it.

sure, i'll remember that when someone says something about your avatar :innocent:

Aww come on C....Stevie Wonder could see the parallel she was drawing......

as i don't recall seeing boo-yah say who they are, i'm considering the possiblity that they could be relatives of his. maybe his fiance/wife and her sister maybe? did anyone take that into account before calling them $2 hos?

I didn't call them $2 hos, as everyone else seems to have understood.

To put it very plainly, I wondered if Boo-Yah applied his reasoning, viz., women who are dressed to show skin are cheap whores, to all pictures, or just the pictures of women who committed the crime of not being personally attractive to him.

PH and Caladan, whatever helps you sleep at night guys.. seriously now..

I saw this girl and her ###### ### mother on the today show. The mother was clearly using this as a publicity stunt for her nobody daughter. As well as a means of getting something for nothing from the airline. I am sure they will have to give her XYZ to shut her up.

Whatever happened to freedom of choice? You know the same stuff some of you guys love to beat 24/7. The company chose not to allow her on the flight and that is their choice.. If she did not like it she should have asked for a refund and flown with somebody else..

PS Funnily enough. I don't think many fly and go see a doctor in another city. I wonder what sort of doctor she is going to see. hmm let me think..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

The next time I am tempted to take anything you write on here seriously, I'll look at this post and think, it's just not worth the time.

Likewise..

I'll tell them one thing. There are a lot on VJ who like to get personal.

How about they send me their details and then we can discuss a lot of this in person.. I am more than happy to meet up anytime; At any place.

BY, just fyi, my surgeon is now in a different city to where I live, and if I had probbos, I'd be going there sharpish. In fact, when it was time for my surgery, I was bumped off my first slot...because he had a emergency case flying in from Africa or somewhere, and I was the only one on his surgical rotation that lived in FL.

And freedom of choice is all well and good, but there's a thing called 'detrimental reliance'. She relied on the airlines to get her from a to z, and they also collected money for the rendering of services. If there are restrictions based on attire, they should be clearly marked in the T&Cs listed with the ticket.

Is this chick gonna milk this for everything it's worth? probably. And that's not really cool, but we do live in quite a litigious society, so I see it as part and parcel of the airline fcuking up here.

While I don't know all the details of this particular case, if she was allowed to board the plane, that should have been the end of the situation.

Man, ya'll say $2 dollar hooker like it's a bad thing.

In this inflationary world, what can you get for $2? I see the $2 hooker as a beacon of light in a world gone mad. They're proof that the pimply ugly 16 year old nerdy teen can still get laid after all!

At the end of the day the business reserves the right to cancel the persons ticket.

The other thing is that she also flew with them on the return segment. If an airline apparently treated you so bad then well why the hell would you fly them again.

She should have asked for her money and not flown with them again. That is, based on how traumatized she apparently was from the whole incident.

nice up-skirt shot on the today show

Picture this: You arrive for your Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) flight early. You manage to avoid packing excessive amounts of liquids in your carry-on baggage. You remember your ID, you wait until your seat is called, you stow your bags properly. You're even prepared to turn off your electronic devices and stow your tray table and put your seat in its upright and locked position when ... you're asked to leave the plane because you're showing a little too much leg.

Haha! What is this, 1951? Nope. It's 2007, and a few months ago waitress Kyla Ebbert (who works at Hooters, where scantily-clad is a good thing) was escorted off a Southwest Airlines flight from San Diego to Tucson because her outfit -- a miniskirt, tank top, and cropped sweater -- was too revealing (I don't see any cleavage and she was wearing a bra). She put up a fuss and was eventually let back on the plane after a lecture on her dress, or lack thereof.

I am about to be a parent again. Of a 7 year old girl. Do I think it is good for her to be exposed to someone flashing their underwear? No That is not how I want her to see Americans. The other girl in the green dress... I haven't seen how her clothes behave when she sits or walks so I can't say. But, whatever happened to dressing up for trips? If all these girls had was what they were wearing, I feel for them. No one should be ashamed of who they are but...does anyone here believe those clothes were all they had to wear?

I do believe that the airline should post their clothing policies.

And yes, I flew on a couple of the "hot pants" stewardess flights and the stews were very nice, very professional.

And yes, I flew on a couple of the "hot pants" stewardess flights and the stews were very nice, very professional.

That's the key sentence right there -- the airline did not post any such thing as a clothing policy. Because they did not, passengers cannot expect to be held to any such standards beyond what is reasonable in day-to-day fashion. By "day-to-day fashion," I mean clothing that covers up the "essentionals" and so long as the individual in question is wearing more than a swimsuit, their underwear or is just plain naked.

I think any airline that created a dress code would lose passengers. It's already a large expense, a great hassle, and (unless you're flying first-class) somewhat uncomfortable to sit there for however many hours your flight remains in the air. If people are then told to dress a certain way on top of all that, they may just stop using that particular airline. I'm sure other airlines would take advantage of the situation and advertise quite loudly that they do not have a dress code. ;)
