CSC filers, you finally have something to be happy about. CSC cranked out an impressive 6 aprovals ont he 25th! That's more than we've had for a whole week anytime from before christmas to present. Mox, you have reason to cheer up yet?

In my best Larry David impression, I can say I'm doing pretty, pretty, pretty good! :)

CSC finally did start processing K-1's again, and in fact gave VSC a run for its money this week. Sure would be nice to see 6 approvals per day going forward, that would clear out the remainder of the July filers and all of August over about the next ~3 weeks, and all of September a week after that. I won't hold my breath for it to happen, but it would be a pleasant surprise. Go CSC GO!

I hope so all also Mox. I've been out of the loop this past week, just reading the VJ updates the few minutes I've been on the computer each night. Glad to see things are picking up. I knew it was a matter of time and things are back to normal. Hope they stay with it to get past the Sept. filers.

So it seems like people who filed at VSC will start to get their visas in possession as early as March, with the majority of the VSC'ers getting visas in April. When do you think us CSC filers will begin to see our visas issued? I think late April at absolute earliest and May will be where we see the majority of September CSC filers getting visas issued? I will be happy with a first week of May visa issuance or sooner (preferably sooner).

How long it takes you to get your actual visa in hand depends on your consulate. Every consulate is going to be different in terms of how far out they're scheduling interviews. And since we don't even have that much data to tell us what kind of approval rate we can expect going forward from CSC, it's really anyone's guess as to when we can even expect approvals and then shipments to NVC. As for me, I'm expecting my approval from the CSC anwhere from about mid-Fabruary to mid-April.

All of the above is my long-winded way of saying "who knows?"

I129-F Sent 9/11, Delivered 9/12 to CSC, It is 9/22, 10 days later, and check not cashed!!!

HI

I filed mine the same time as you did.. I am optomistic that the time line will fall within your estimated time line. I am going to see my fiance in Italy in Febuary and will return the beginning of March. I would be so happy if I got notice noa2 in March.

Best of Luck to you and your fiance..

With the consulate we'll go through, I doubt we'll have the visa until august at the earliest, and that's if everything goes smoothly and there are no more big delays.

Yup, it's 3-4 more weeks before NOA2, it's still 3-4 weeks from CSC to NVC, and once it arrives in china, it takes about 5-6 months... the first 2-3 months they even take a look at the petition.

Ugh...August? That sucks. (says Captain Obvious...) :(
