Hi all my fellow Sept. Fliers- Just wanted to let you know that I finally made it back home to find good news. We received our NO1A. :dance: It shows a received date of Sept. 27, 2007 and Notice date of Oct. 25. I am hoping and guessing they will be going by the Sept date. I suppose only time will tell if us (the CSC users) will be equal to them (VSC users). I have read different things, but nothing concrete as evidence for us. Good luck to all. Now the "touch" game begins.

8/06/2011 - Package sent

8/25/2011 - Biometrics schedule

9/26/2011 - Interview date received

10/09/2011 - Received yellow letter

11/08/2011 - Interview date THANKS GOD went smooth n pretty easy with the nice lady IO takes 9-10 minutes wow???????????????

I think I waited more time for my Oath Ceremony schedule rather than interview process and after 13 minutes the lady gave my sched WOW CAN'T BELIEVE ......yayyyyyyy

You won't believe it! Or at least...I still don't! I checked my bank account online this morning and found that our check had been cashed yesterday Nov. 2!! I am still kinda shell-shocked after having become resigned to the fact that we were going to have to be THAT couple who just wasn't going to hear anything for a LOOOONNNG time. Holy Cow!

Question for those who have used the USICS site to sign up to get info about your case. When you first signed on did it say "On 'such and such date' we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)" But, that date was more like the date they possibly opened the package, not the date that it was received through the mail? I am just curious cause the date on mine said Oct 30, 2007....when I know my petition arrived Sept 6, 2007. Any ideas?? I am sure when the NOA1 Hardcopy comes in the mail my fear that they are using the wrong date as the received date will be quelled...just wondering what your guys' experience has been like

Oh...and other update...I did email the CSC the other date and received an email basically saying that they do not take inquiries from the public through email. Which kinda bummed me out. Now I wonder if it somehow did have an effect since my check was cashed a day or two later. Thoughts? Anyone else have a similar experience????

I looked at your timeline: Filed Sept 26, 2007. Received NOA1 Sept 28, 2007. Received NOA2 Oct 30, 2007. Only 34 days. Are you serving in Army/Military or Government? That's so fast. I couldn’t understand.

and 34 days... WHOO HOOO how absolutely exciting for you... here's hoping that, that means some great movement is happening over at those service centres...

and YES isn't it a relief (LOL) when your check is cashed (probably about the only time we all get excited about a government department taking money from us) at least it shows that they actually have our file...

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR TIMELINES IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO... your updates help give number crunchers like myself something to gauge. 4th feb - all these approvals MUST be doing something, my timeline NOW says 2nd April...

5/2/08 - YAY YAY YAY.... NOA-2 approval via email from CRIS... WHOO HOOOOOOOOOOO.... the "estimated timeline said 31 March this morning just as an FYI for you all)

9/2/2008 Flying to Ohio to spend a bit of time with my darling man to arrange our wedding and also just to spend some time together :-)

Yes, the NOA1 hardcopy is the official document mailed to your home that officially states that your petition has been received and is on very official looking stationary. You know if you have been touched by checking your case status online. If the "Last Updated" date changes, you have been touched.

So yes we did recieve our NOA1 few days ago...but i just dont know if it been touched yet... Im kinda nervous to look loll

and well im going to spend thanksgiving with my honey...My first american thanksgiving YAY!!!

For others who haven been receiving your NOA1.....dont be discourage its coming....i think most of you should look by end of week :thumbs::thumbs:
