My 14 year old step-son would like to finish this year of school in his home country. Unfortunately his visa time period of six months will expire before school ends. Therefore we must bring him to the US before the deadline and then allow him to return to finish school. He will then join his Mother and Myself permanently in the US. This raises just a few questions.

1. How long will he need to stay in the US before returning to finish school?

2. Is there any way to adjust his interview for a separate date from his mother?

3. What else, and I am sure there may be several questions, should I ask or consider before we attempt to implement our plan?

4. Could this cause any unseen problems with immigration?
