yes thy kept my passport.they only gave me the pink slip and one letter saying"wait til you hear from us"i ask the guy if i need to submit more evidence but he said no.everything is fine with my papers..im confused!!!!!we will try to contact the embassy on monday to make sure. Thanks for the help!!!!!

Anybody here on vj who have gone the situation like mine????????

The long white paper that says "Wait till you hear from us", that means you're on AR. But paying DELBROS and keeping your passport is a good sign and that means your visa will be delivered after they do some background checkings. If they will need more documents from you they will tell you to submit it to them. Ask your petitioner to call USEM and ask for Lorraine Gonzales at 528-6300 loc. 5184. Good Luck!

Thanks for all your advice!!!!!!!!!!!!Hope we will get through this..Pls pray for us guys....

I have a friend who received the same "wait till you hear from us", found out later that they had to do thorough checking on her and after more than 4 weeks, she finally received her visa. She did pay DELBROS and they kept her passport too... Follow their advice about calling Ms. Lorraine. It always helps...

Hello yawl,

Agree you're on AR, I had the same experienced and was on AR jail for a month. No need to call the embassy, you'll just be wasting you're time and money. I called embassy once and no one could tell me anything I found through VJ that I was in AR jail because of my correction in my BC. You got the pink slip and paid Delbros, it is nerve wracking but be patient and wait, that's what VJ is here for to support everyone. Be patient.

Anyway, I've noticed that we don't have the long list of updates on the Manila Embassy Thread that PW used to manage that way you will know those people who are in the same situation like you. You'll see that you're not alone and it happens to just about anyone. Goodluck and stay cool! God bless yawl!

cheers

:help: At the conclusion of my fiance's interview she was given a letter along with pink slip etc. She paid Delbros, but the letter stated

for her to wait for the USE to contact her, and it did not ask for any other evidance or info just to wait. ? ? ? ? ? ?

Does anyone have any idea what this means ? Or how long this will take ? Is this AR ?

Hi,

My Fiance and I are going through the same exact thing right now. She also had her interview on the 13th, and it seems that the CO was not that friendly and would not tell her anything. I guess now we just have to wait. I will be calling Lorraine soon. Thanks for you help everyone.

Hi good morning, let me ask some question: like mine, the affidavit of support of my fiancee has no signature coz he was a second thoughts to sign in it. and the man was in the window 38 said: i will give you back your passport, coz you dont have affidavit of support that has signature of your fiance. and He gave me the list of the additonal documents with a letter and says: """come back here in the USE if you have all the required documents with you and pass it in the window 17-20""" and HE let me pay the delbros. AND GO HOME.

So pls. text me back thank you God bless you.

I know this is discouraging but they did keep the passport and had you pay DELBRO so whatever delay that is going on seems to still be a positive for you. They wouldn't of had you pay DELBROS or kept the passport if there was something really serious. It is red tape that you just have to wait to work itself out.
