NVCs rec'd letter has Fiancee name in wrong order! Problem?

Hey all-

Just got my receipt letter from the NVC for my I-129f with my case #, but I noticed something that made my heart skip a beat...

My fiancee's name is out of order! She has 4 names (as is common in VN) and they switched her first name with a middle one. I double checked the NOA2 approval and they got it right on that one.

SO, I'm left wondering is this an error I need to correct and if it is, who do I contact? Or is this letter unimportant in the bigger scheme of it all??

Icarus, when I received the letter from NVC (National Visa Center) that the "apporved I-129F petition" was received and that in a week it would be forwarded to HCMC, I noticed that my fiancee's name was listed FIRST MIDDLE LAST instead of LAST MIDDLE FIRST, which is the propery way in Vietnam.

I looked at the I-129F copy I made and also the other papers (NOA1 & 2) and the name is correctly listed as LAST MIDDLE FIRST, so I don't know what to think.

I would not worry about it. I believe the consulate goes by the NOA2 approval letter and not the receipt letter NOA1. Can you confirm that the name is in the correct order on the I-129F? and the G325A because they will look at those document for sure.

It could cause a problem down the road. My wife's middle name was missing one letter on the NVC letter and I ignored it. Cost us a month of unnecassary waiting after the interview.

I checked against the NOA2 I recieved, and that one lists her name correctly.

As for the NVC letter, all her names are spelled right, but in this order: 3-1-2-4.

Honestly, I'm not sure how this happened, but I really hope a typo doesn't delay us a month!!
