So my husband and I had the interview last Thursday the 7th of September. We got the I-130 approval email and notice this week, 11th or 12th of September. We both live in the U.S.A what happens now?? Does anyone know?? I also applied for the I-485 adjustment of status.

What did they say at the interview?

Did they say they were going to think about it and get back to you? How about the FBI name check, did you clear that yet?

You need to have the I-130 approved to be able to get the GC, so that's a good thing at least.

I'm not sure what else to tell you, it really depends on what they said at the interview.

Well we got sent the biometrics but it got sent back to them. Then we had the interview, and she said we had to get my biometrics done. The interview went well. Afterward we went and got my biometrics done. Then this week we received the approval of the I-130 via email and the post. Now waiting on my AOS or I-485 approval.

Well I think if you completed what was needed you should hear from them very soon. If they said something like you were approved pending getting the biometrics done that is.

I think you have to wait like 30 days (or is it 60?) and if you hear nothing call or better: make an infopass appointment to find out about your case and see why it's taking a while.

Hopefully you won't have to though.
