Can someone tell me where to get the Police Character Certificate from Pakistan?

Where to get the application from and how long does it take for them to give it to you (knowing how slow things are done there)

POLICE RECORD

Police records are available at no cost from the applicant's District Coordinating Office. They may take up to three months to obtain.

PRISON RECORD

Not available to individuals. Prison records will be issued only in response to an official request, made through the Ministry of Interior, to the Inspector General of Prisons in the district where the prison is located.

I-130 for husband - see TIMELINE

10/23/2007 - Receive SSC (took 9 days from POE)

12/04/2007 - Receive Welcome Letter

12/14/2007 - Received 2nd Welcome Letter and Green card!!!

09/29/2010 - N-400 receipt received

09/30/2010 - RFE mailed

11/30/2010 - Case moved to the Testing & Interview stage (Email)

12/03/2010 - Received interview letter

01/06/2011 - Interview @ 10:15a...APPROVED!

02/12/2011 - Received oath ceremony letter (dated 02/10/2011)

02/18/2011 - Received descheduled oath ceremony letter (dated 2/15/2011)

02/26/2011 - Received new oath ceremony letter

03/02/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p (IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!)

03/09/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p...FINALLY A CITIZEN!!!

If u r Pakistani then i can tell u how u can get the police certificate in 3 days and if u r foreigner then sorry I cant help you i have no idea.

July 29th 2006 - GOT MARRIED IN PAKISTAN

Sep 1st 2006 - I-130 sent.

Sep 5th 2006 - NOA1

May 24th 2007 - NOA2 APPROVED

NVC FOR CR-1 (I-130)

06/13/07 - NVC receives petition and case # assigned.

Sep 11th 2007 - CASE COMPLETED!!! THANK GOD

Sep 19th 2007 - Case fwd to London embassy

US EMBASSY LONDON

Oct 25th 2007 - Medical Appointment

Nov 9th 2007 - INTERVIEW IN LONDON (APPROVED PUT ON AP)

Dec 5th 2007- AP CLEARED IN 26 DAYS

Dec 18th 2007 - ALHAMDULILLAH VISA IN HAND

U.S.A

Feb 15th 2008 - POE (JFK)

Mar 05th 2008 Green Card arrived

Dec 28 2009 Apply for condition remove

Removal of Conditions Timeline

Dec 26 2009 I-751 sent

Dec 28 2009 I-751 delivered (VSC)

Dec 29 2009 I-751 NOA Received

Mar 09 2010 condition removed got 10 years green card

NATURALIZATION N-400

Dec 07 2010 N-400 sent to Tx

Actually...the beneficiary (my husband) is Pakistani and was born and raised there..

Just recently about 4 months ago.. he moved to Jordan. But he will need a Police Certificate from Pakistan as well as Jordan. So can you please tell me how to get it in the fastest way possible.. which documents you will need, where u have to go, and is it necessary for him to be there since he is living in Jordan at the time.. can his parents get it from him?

Hi, It is really really easy to get, (i have made this P.Cert. 4 times). and believe that always i made it in just few hours. and if you try you can get it in two days. You need to go to DPO(District Police Officer) Office. and follow these steps.

1. Present your Original ID Card and get Police Certificate Form from Accounts Branch.

2. Attest it from your MPA or MNA that he lives here and have good character.

3. Attest it from your local Police Station.

4. Submit it to DPO office and collect it next day.

Not sure your parents may get it or not. You need to visit the DPO Office once. check the address of DPO office from your local police station.
