Can't wait until the first August filer gets NOA2 because that means I'm not far behind! :)

NO KIDDIN! I can't wait for Aug Filers start getting NOA2. What month are getting their NOA2's now?

Well, if you must ask........I have an early May I-130 for CR-1/2 and an early to mid June I-129F for K-3/4, of which neither has been issued the NOA-2. Moreover, both are very straight forward and have no unusual issues with respect to petitioner or beneficiary. Further, there is a whole pile of May/June K-1's still waiting for the NOA-2; some, however, are starting to come through in this past week.

I-130 for CR-1/CR-2 Timeline:

Married in Guangzhou, China 12-2006.

05/03/07: I-130's for CR-1 and CR-2 mailed to CSC via USPS

06/23/07: NOA-1/I-797C's.

11/06/07: NOA-2’s were issued. CR-1/2 Abandoned, for K-3/4.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I-129F for K-3/K-4 Timeline:

06/11/07: I-129F for K-3/K-4 mailed to Chicago.

06/13/07: Received at Chicago.

06/15/07: Received NOA-1 Form I-797C, from Chicago.

06/26/07: E-mail notice of transfer to the CSC.

11/06/07: NOA-2 approval issued for the I-129F.

12/06/07: I-129F for K-3/4 has been received at the NVC.

06/02/08: Interview passed at US Consulate Guangzhou

06/06/08: Return together and arrive at POE LAX.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

AOS K-3/K-4 I-485/I-765 Timeline:

03-25-09: Mailed files.

03-27-09: Received at Chicago.

04-02-09: NOA’s for (K-3 and K-4) I-485 and I-765.

04-03-09: Both checks ($1010.00 and $600.00) cashed.

04-07-09: NOA’s Biometrics Appt.

04-14-09: Both I-765 files entered into the online system.

04-24-09: Biometrics appt. completed.

05-07-09: NOA with Interview Date of June 16, 2009.

05-21-09: Now have both I-485 files viewable.

05-23-09: EAD card production ordered x2.

06-01-09: EAD cards received in mail.

06-18-09: AOS Interviews completed and GC production ordered.

I read this whole thread again today. I just quickly browsed through and I'm glad that there is an AUGUST Filer UNDER CSC.

This thread is actually quite specific and special because almost all of us waited 6-7 weeks until receiving the NOA1 and getting our checks cashed.

There is only about a handful of us who have posted replies.

I wonder where all the AUGUST FILERS ARE UNDER CSC.

There has to be more than just a handful of us.

Hi everyone this is my 1st post after viewing these excellent and helpful forums for past 6mths or so. Without VJ this whole process would be so much more difficult so just want to say thanks to all VJers on here and to whoever created this website!!!!! Anyway I am an August filer and just to add to this thread we posted our I129F form on 3rd August 2007 when my fiance visited me in England. This was received at csc on 11th then added to system on 17th August 2007. We received our NOA1 by post a few days later and USICS shows last updated on 8/23/2007. The last time we checked our cheque had not been cashed, however we haven't checked with the bank in the last week or so. There hasn't been any touches since this date. Im currently in the US with my fiance and have been so since 26th August and Im due to leave on 23rd November to go back to my job so the first stage has been less stressful as we have been together during this time.

Anyway good luck to us all in our quest to get our lifes on track..cus it sucks having to have your life held in the balance by someone else and it completely messes with your emotions not knowing where you stand

Filed on August 28th all the forms through lawyer, K3 I129 I130 and as of today nothing so basically I dont even look any more to see if we have been touched....such a joke, and yet I cant even laugh except at what they post on their websites. Applications received in Texas on 30th of August and then probably sent to California.

Called USCIS get really good people, but one was exceptional and this is what she said to me......yes wait the 90 days before really getting upset and DO NOT GO BY WHAT IS POSTED - wow, an honest worker. anyways will just go about life as if I was this wasnt happening and waiting for this BS to end...maybe when the process all the workers permits we may get a NO1 - but not holding my breathe anymore - tis a joke........

Good Luck to all and have a good one hope someone gets touched today, no in fact I hope all of you do.

Cheers and yes totally beyond frustration..

Susie

p.s if anyone wants to know why i just dont call our lawyer, dont worry I did that also....and my senator and such.....but ya know you can only do so much without being obessed with this whole sorry issue.

You're quite right about the particular circumstances many of us went through during August and September not knowing whether our petitions were lost or not. And yes there were a lot of us at the time (I found that part quite a comfort at least).

I think a lot of people moved onto the general July and August filer threads once their issues were resolved. I tend to post in the 'July Filers' or 'waiting for an NOA2 from CSC' threads as I ended up with a July NOA1 received date despite the fact that my petition didn't actually reach CSC until mid August. I fell lucky there!

Sorry to see that there are some still waiting on an NOA1 and check cashing. I wish you all the best and hope things will get resolved quickly for you.

Hey Guys, I am in the same boat. Sent on Aug-15th , NOA1 receieved on 10/4 - although officila date is 9/27

received on 8/21

How do you know the case was touched? I created on online account today in uscis.gov - will I get update there?

Also, when I went to logon to uscis.gov, it was using you are not authorized to use the site. I don't know what's up with that.

Yes, after you created your account, add your case to your portfolio by entering in your WACxxxxxxxxxx receipt #

If your case was "touched" it will show the latest date on the column Last Updated (mm/dd/yyyy).

You're right. I've been watching the JULY FILERS and haven't joined this thread until now.

I feel fortunate to have quickly received my NOA1. I wasn't aware of the problems encountered by so many of you until reading about it today.

From what I've been seeing, I expect to get NOA2 in about 2 weeks. I hope a lot of us AUGUST FILERS have a Christmas present from USCIS.

can anyone tell me how to edit or change the timeline? guys do you think i should call CSC to get an update or a touch?havent heard anything from them.

To edit your timeline: Go to my assistant; VJ Tools; Edit Timeline...

I don't think calling CSC would be beneficial. They don't want to hear from you unless your NOA2 is beyond their projected processing times (which are exaggerated to prevent people from calling).

Probably, at this point, no news is good news. All we can really do is support each other and be patient.
