AUGUST I-129F FILERS UNDER CSC

My NOA1 shows a 'received date' of 27th July but I will not forget my fellow 'maybe july/maybe august/maybe september/who knows?' filers.

Congrats babbelsgirl. That just shows that the date when you get your NOA1 is totally unimportant. I expecting my NOA1 next week. I send my petition August 26. They are working right now on week before so its coming closer and closer ;-).

I wouldn't worry (although I did! ), they seem to be honouring the correct 'received date'.

I've updated my time line. I should expect to see the NOA1 soon in the Mail.

I've been looking through my mail everyday ! Will let you guys know when it comes in.

There are others who filed around the last week of August with CSC and you should be getting yours soon.

No touches for me. I'm not worrying about touches for a while yet. Some petitions get approved without any touches at all, some with many. I doubt it's an indication of anything significant since they are not expected to get around to ours for a good while yet.

Congrats to the latest NOA1 recipients. It sure puts your mind at ease knowing the application IS in the system

I received my NOA1 Today in the mail on 10-05-07. The Notice date is 10-03-07.

My check was cashed 10-03-07.

For all of those who sent their I-129F on the last week of August to CSC. You guys should be getting your NOA1's soon.

Babblesgirl, In our application, we didnt get the correct 'received date'. When we check our status on line, it is showing us october 2nd as a received date, and check was cashed on october 4th. We know through USPS that the package arrived CSC on august 20. What could have happened?

Babblesgirl, In our application, we didnt get the correct 'received date'. When we check our status on line, it is showing us october 2nd as a received date, and check was cashed on october 4th. We know through USPS that the package arrived CSC on august 20. What could have happened?

Your received date should be when the packet was signed for at CSC, i.e. August 20th. I'm not sure what you can do about this error. USCIS did say on their press release about receipting delays that the received date would be honoured. Now you have a case number you will be able to query this more effectively though. I would try calling the service center direct and requesting a new NOA1 which reflects when your packet was actually received.

If anyone has any other ideas please chip in.

the notice date says 10/03/07. What does the received date say on the NOA1? that is your received date, not when they signed for the package when mailed. If you sent it in august it should show an august date in the received date box on your NOA2
