Hi Lucky5, forgive my ignorance but have you been approved? I haven't seen all the prior post. Congratulation, if you have. Good luck for everybody?

I have a feeling that I will be approved this week or next week.

I agree with Bengalilover. We have seen august approvals last week, so It is reasonable to expect our approvals this week or next week.

Bengalilover, it doesnt hurt if you call USCIS to see what is going on with your petition. Let us know if you do that. Good luck!!!!

Igor&Elina: How did you get the approval? Did you get an e-mail or you got a postal mail? I am curious. Also, did you the RFE trick to call USCIS?

Nope, no e-mail and no change in the online status. Still says that it's pending.

Got it by snail mail. Actual NOA2 notice.

I tried to use the RFE trick on Friday, but the lady just read from the script and gave me the same info as on the site. She didn't even know that the approval was already issued.

Just want to let you guys know: ours has been approved through the post! We sent our application on 8th Aug to CSC. We received the approved letter by post today, saying being approved on Jan 23rd. But our online status hasn't been changed, of course, no email alert sent to us beforehand. We even called a few hours before we saw the letter: the customer service didn't know anything. But, we just received the letter by post!

I am sure yours will come soon as well...

Oh many many thanks guys about this positive info and CONGRATULATIONS for the approval. I was extremly stressed becouse of the status that never changed "received and pending" and since we called couple of times and they keep saying the same thing on the site and there wasn't even one single touch except the one for the same date we have received our NOA1. I'm not saying that I'm totally relief now (can't help it) but at least I know that thier online checking site is suck which kept me frustrated every time I check it! now I'm not gonna even look at it grrrrrrrrr

Hey CONGRATULATIONS Helen & Chris, excellent news!!!! Strange that the online status doesn't seem to be changing.

Any chance at all that you'd want to fill in your timeline so we'd have the stats?

Lucky5, I guess they have some special reasons, e.g. having served in the army, or special important reasons.
