Confused about my son on 16 which came here on a K-2 visa

Hi :)

After reading alot of topics about how old kids shall be before they need to apply themself I am really so confused.

Is it before my son is turning 18 or is it 21?

What happens if he is turning 18 when it is time for us to remove lifting condition?

Not sure what you mean by "kids apply themselves"? Where is your son now? How old was he when you married? What status is he now?

My son came with me to usa on a K-2 visa and I thought he had to apply again when he is 18. I guess I am totally wrong

I'm assuming he is included in your AOS interview, at the same time? If your AOS is granted shortly and he receives his GC at the same time as you, then you will both be submitting the I-751 to lift the conditions on your GC at the same time (2 years minus 90 days, meaning you submit the paperwork 90 days before your GC expires).

You will send in the I-751 and his name will appear on your I-751 form in the section that requests names of children and you will need to include the I-751 fee/biometrics for you and just the additional biometrics fee for him in this situation.

Yes interview is same day. I am really so surprised. I thought he should change something when he wasn't a minor nolonger

09/23/2009 - date of decision to approve (letter received), just waiting for card. No online updates whatsoever.
