Hi Siddarth,

I like your name very much !

I filed in Vermont in December as well, and haven't heard anything since Dec. 14th, which was just a few days after I received my NOA1.

I wonder if perhaps things got a little backed up with the holidays???

In any event, I am in the same boat as you, my friend. I wake up each day hoping for that magic e-mail which will make my day. In the meantime, I keep myself busy with my work, family and friends. No one understands unless they go through it, which we all have here on this forum.

It will come. Have hope. :D

Yes I-130's have slowed......whether that is because of holidays or not, who knows. They are now processing those with dates of October 29. Whilst that is not always an accurate indication it is a good indicator. 1-130's had been going exceptionally fast through VSC, but one must also remember this is for the immigrant visa and has in the past traditionally been a very long long long wait through any service center. Ours was approved in 42 days from first mailing in the petition and that really surprised us as it did many that had their I-130's approved fast. Did you file I-129F for K-3 visa? Had we not been approved when we were that is what we would of done. Perhaps if you are wishing to give yourself a chance to be reunited sooner; doing AOS in the US is not a concern and you have the spare filing fee, then this is something you could consider if you havent already.

Wishing everyone waiting all the very best.
