Allright, so i had my biometrics appointment today in metarie, new orleans.....

The appointment was for 11 am, we were there at 10.40 am and could have been done faster if i dident have to go to the bathroom, but we were litteraly sitting in my car at 11.03 so about 20 mins to do a bio isent bad :-) very friendly people there except for one of the lady securityguards, she was mean hehe.

Anyway cant wait to get my ead, hopefully we wont get any rfe´s

What biometrics do they take at the appointment? Index fingers only and a picture or is it more?

They took every single finger + a pic + you had to sign your name on a digital pad

January 28,2008 - Email - Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

Finally received my noa!!!

i got one for the 485 and one for the 765..

Now i can finally go get a license and id!!! :-D

Please people there has got to other september filers out there!

hi! my I-485, I-765 and I-131 were sent sept 12 and delivered by USPS 2:26 PM September 14, 2007 in CHICAGO, IL. its great that they are sending at the NOA earlier because i am also very eager to start with the driver's permit. its no joke to be totally dependent to my husband for months now. by the way, i was just wondering when your check was cashed.

Actually i dont know when my check was cashed, i forgot the password for the online banking, lol

I think it was cashed on the 21st but im not sure.

Me and you both with that dl, i cannot wait to take the test either, im tired of being stuck in the house all day long without a vehicle.

And even though i did bring alot of money here, i still feel like im smooching off my wife, not being able to work and all :)

Hello,

we are September filers too and just wanted to say hi:)

We have our appointment for Friday Nov 9, so hopefully after that we will be able to check our cases online.

By the way I just called USCIS custromer service line and they told me that we could have differrent biometrics appointments for the EAd and AOS. Did all of you have only 1 appointment for both?

Hey at least i got my louisiana license and a car now, just need a job, especially with theese new gas prices!

Had my biometrics yesterday (Oct27)... no problems at all... finished in about 10 minutes.... the office told me that i should be receiving the EAD and travel docs in about 4 weeks now... i also asked the estimate date for the interview and she said, about 6 month now... so that is around - end of April 2008! yikes!!!

Received EAD yesterday!!! ... yaay!!!! Now wait for the GC interview!

Went to biometrics about a month ago and havent heard anything since. Can't even add it at the uscis site. havent been update there either.

AOS -K2 Based for 8 year old daughter...wife already has green card in hand and daughter was brought over via join to follow - K1.

I did my biometrics on Friday too. I got touched on Friday and today.

Yes, we did. Twice I believe and then it was approved 6 days after biometrics and then another touch 5 days later.
