Hi everyone! I am not sure if we are a September or October filer. Sent AOS September 24, arrived at Chicago lockbox on the 28th. We received a receipt notice on October 3rd. Anyway, as I scanned this forum I found others with somewhat similar AOS timeline as us.

By the way, I received another e-mail from CRIS today:

Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On December 7, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

In the previous e-mail, I have been informed of the EAD Card Production Ordered status.

I don't received the hard copy of these notices yet as well as the EAD card.

Is it okay to start looking and applying for a job now? Or should I wait until I will have my EAD card on-hand before starting anything? What do you think?

I am just so excited to work!

Any words of wisdom please........??!!!!!

I finally have my EAD and AP approved today and I think they're on the way to my home :dance::thumbs: I got two email notification at 7pm last night (12/06/07) that they're approved. Good luck to the rest of you still waiting for EAD.

09/12/2007 - Denial Notice Re-sent (original lost in the mail)

09/17/2007 - Denial Notice received. I-485 and I-765 are denied due to lack of response to RFE for medical exmination

09/24/2007 - 2nd RFE received to submit original birth certificate of US husband as I-130 evidence

09/25/2007 - Re-filed I-485 and I-765, along with I-131(with attorney involved)

12/06/2007 - EAD Card Production Ordered, I-131 Approved! (Day 72)

12/15/2007 - AP received in the mail (Day 81)

We just got the card and the AP in the mail. They were approved on the same day and the AP arrived 4 days later and the EAD card arrived 1.5 weeks later. YAY! Paul's meeting with a friend's dad about a job on Wed, so hopefully he'll be starting a new year with a new job!

I received an e-mail indicating that production of my EAD card was ordered today. Just in time to miss us as we travel to visit family for Christmas and then move across the country!! Oh well, hopefully the address change system works. Of course, can't change it until we actually have an address, but that should be resolved shortly.

I thought I should post this up! Just couldn't contain the excitement to myself and my wife!

I received the GREEN CARD in the mail today! We just could not believe how fast this whole process went, especially with minimum touch updates on USCIS website. No interviews, no nothig! direct to the GC!!!!

All those waiting for it, be patient and we hope that everyone else get theirs soon!

Sent AOS package, I-485, I-765 and I-131 (plus all supporting docs) to Chicago on Sep 15, delivered Sep 18. Waiting for cheque to be cashed and awaiting NOAs.

Received Biometrics letter today in mail... It's on October 25! yaay!!!!!!

Had my biometrics yesterday (Oct27)... no problems at all... finished in about 10 minutes.... the office told me that i should be receiving the EAD and travel docs in about 4 weeks now... i also asked the estimate date for the interview and she said, about 6 month now... so that is around - end of April 2008! yikes!!!

Received EAD yesterday!!! ... yaay!!!! Now wait for the GC interview!
