Hubby just received his EAD card in today's mail...three days after card production ordered...it is such a beautiful sight after being the only bread winner lately. Congrats to everyone who received their EAD as well and touches to their cases.

My i-131 Application for Travel Document was approved today :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Finally, after 3.5 years I can visit my family!!!!! :thumbs:

September 24, 2007 - Sent the package to Chicago

September 26, 2007 - Package received

October 2, 2007 - Checks cashed, NOA1 for I-130/131/485/765

October 19,2007 - Biometrics done (Woodside, New York)

December 3,2007 - i-131 and i-765 approved

January 23,2008 - Interview - sucessful

January 28,2008 - Email - Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

21 sept 2007- NOA1 for AOS, EAD

26 sept 2007 - biometrics appointment letter received

16 oct 2007- RFE birth certificate(missing original copy)

23 oct 2007- biometrics done

20 nov 2007- EAD card production ordered

29 nov 2007- EAD approval notice sent

01 dec 2007 - EAD arrived in the mail

03 dec 2007-apply for SSN

10 dec 2007- got SSN in the mail

20 dec 2007 - got a job

22 dec 2007 - got driver licence

24 dec 2007 - received interview letter for AOS

5 febr 2008 - AOS interview APPROVED

04/07/2007 - I-130, I-485, I-765 mailed to Chicago Lockbox

04/22/2007 - Notice of Receipt for I-130, I-485, I-765 received

05/05/2007 - Biometric Appointment

08/23/2007 - Request status update on I-765

09/10/2007 - Response of Service Request on I-765 received: I-485 and I-765 denied on 08/28/2007

09/12/2007 - Denial Notice Re-sent (original lost in the mail)

09/17/2007 - Denial Notice received. I-485 and I-765 are denied due to lack of response to RFE for medical exmination

09/24/2007 - 2nd RFE received to submit original birth certificate of US husband as I-130 evidence

09/25/2007 - Re-filed I-485 and I-765, along with I-131(with attorney involved)

09/27/2007 - 2nd RFE evidence sent

10/09/2007 - 2nd RFE response received by NBC, I-130 resumed (60 days estimate for a decision/update)

10/10/2007 - NOAs issued, check cashed

AOS -K2 Based for 8 year old daughter...wife already has green card in hand and daughter was brought over via join to follow - K1.

11/04/08 - I485 sent

11/10/08 - NOA rcd

I went to my first job interview in the us today, after they do a background check i think i actually might have the job, they told me, that they were looking forward for me to come work for them :-)

I guess being a danish security guard gets better credentials over here, than i expected.
