Her new married name

How are you guys doing, If she had changed her name on the marriage certificate, she can start to use her new name now on all documentation. but this is a matter of personal choice of course as to what name one decide to keep after marriage.

By the way nice to see you Liam, I hope you are enjoying your stay here after alll the struggle you guys went to.

Best wishes again to both of you

If she wants to be known by her married name, than use it. If she wants to be known by her maiden name use it. if she wants to be known by a combination of the two, use it. It's her choice. :)

The key is consistency. Whatever she decides to do, it needs to be the same for all paperwork from now on.

(I know she is the USC, but if she decides to change her name, she has to change her name on everything.)

You can change your name starting with your AOS applications; your marriage certificate (enclosed) will be the bridge of proof they need to see it's you.

SSA will take awhile to change for a K-1; you have to wait until you have an *immigration* document in your new name, which you will get by filing for AOS. That is, usually. Search for posts by mdyoung that explain what your marriage certificate must contain to get your SSA *record* changed sooner. It will still be awhile before thy'll issue a new card.
