time to receive visa after interview

My fiancee is a cronic worrier. It used to be that the Moscow Embassy would ship out the passports with the Visa's the morning after the interview. I think they have slowed a bit. My fiancee is concerned becuase it has been three days since her interview and DHL has not recieved the packet for her. Can anyone who has done this reciently let me know how quickly they shipped out the DHL Packet after the interview. She would like me to call the embassy. I suggested we give it a week. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

12/14/2006 Applied for K-1 with request for Waver for Multiple filings within 2 years.
Waiting - Waiting - Waiting
3/6 Called NVC file sent to Washington for "Administrative Review" Told to call back every few weeks. 7/6 Called NVC, A/R is finished, case on way to Moscow. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7/13 On Friday the 13th we see updated Moscow website with our interview on 9/11 (Hope we are not supersticious) 9/11 Visa Approved. Yahoo.
10/12 Tickets for her to America. I am flying to JFK to meet her there. 12/15/07 We are married. One year and a day after filling original K-1
12/27 Filed for AOS, EAD & AP 1/3 Received all three NOA-1's 1/22 Biometrics 2/27 EAD & AP received 4/12 Interview

Hmmm,...well my fiancee had her interview on a Friday and received her visa by DHL on the following Wednesday...

04/19/2006 - met for the first time

01/12/2007 - sent I-129f to Nebraska

01/22/2007 - NOA1

04/20/2007 - NOA2

07/20/2007- Interview in Moscow

09/19/2007- Married

01/25/2008- AOS package mailed

08/27/2008-Interview-approved

09/10/2008-GC received

08/21/2010-10yr green card received

Hmmm,...well my fiancee had her interview on a Friday and received her visa by DHL on the following Wednesday...

Sounds like they sent it out the morning following the interview. I appreciate that. I think everyone worries a lot and after all we have been through we probably worry more than most. Let's see if we can get some other input here as well. That was very helpful.

I think Moscow might be a lot like Kiev. They will wait a few days to process the actual visa and send it out by DHL a couple of days later. I have seen it take as much as a week to get out of the embassy. Tell your lady to relax. She can probably call the embassy and ask if it has been sent out.

Thanks happy. We are going to give it until Wednesday. If there is no word by then she wants me to call the Embassy.

I think it took about a week to get to my fiancee all the way in Vladivostok. (Not sure when they sent it out, but she got it about a week later.)

Out interview was Wednesday 12 Sept. ACcording to the DHL website, they received her packed Friday morning 14 Sept for overnight delivery. Since it will be delivered at work, I anticipate my wife will get her visa on Monday.

Thanks Novotul, She called on Friday and they had no record of ours being recieved but I still think if they say it is approved that it will go out fairly soon. I guess we get a little more nervous after all the problems we have had. Hopefully this one will just be a minor bump in the road.

We're not making any concrete plans until after the visa is in hand. We were in AR for a month and take nothing about timeliness for granted. You two were in AR for months and months (5 months? 7 months?). Nervousness is not unreasonable and I hope that you get word soon that DHL has the packet. Do you know the tracking number? (I made sure to make a copy of it before we parted yesterday.)

We are doing the same. Once the visa is there we will start looking into flights. I made that mistake with my former fiancee and ended up throwing airline tickets away. No, unfortunately I don't have the DHL number. I wish I did. I don't even really know if she has it. I mentioned the number yesterday but she did not say much one way or the other. I have a feeling she did not know about tracking numbers and may have thrown the receipt away. I have hopes the visa may arrive in the next few days but like everyone I will feel much more content when it has arrived.

My wife received her visa today from DHL. Thanks to all for help over the months.

Congratulations Novotul. I am sure it is a relief to have it in hand.

I too got the good news that our visa arrived as well. Now we are starting to make travel plans.

I'm really glad that the visa for your fiance is now also in hand.

At the interview, the CO told my wife it would probably be two weeks before she actually got the visa -- and it was in fact 2.5 working days.

They had told my fiancee she would have it within a week and it made it in 6 days. She is 3 time zones east of moscow so the transit time may have been a little longer as well. We are both releaved to have that part of things behind us.
