Wierd phone call

This is gonna be a wierd question but i want to ask it anyway. Do embassies call and make prank phone calls to see if you are for real? I mean my fiance got a really wierd call today. It was a man he asked him if he was married. Asad said no i have fiance. He thought at first it might be embassy calling for them to get his e mail to send packets. Then the guy said said he was gay and looking for somebody to fck and if he would be able to do that. Asad said he was muslim and they don't do that and he asked how he got his number. He didn't answer him so asad hung up. I was laughing about it but then i started thinking about some of the stories on here and how the embassies come and visit the families and talk to relatives to see if you really have a relationship or not. But the man asked if him if he was married thats what got me thinking about it. Am i being just paranoid? It is funny what they guy said.

I DO NOT think that the embassy calls people and pretends they're gay and want to #### them just to test if the called person is really in a relationship with his/ her fiancé. Though it would be pretty funny if they did... would spice up the process a little.

Yeah he said there are alot of gays in that country. He had one girl calling him threatening him that she was gonna kill me. He seems to attract all kinds. I told him he is too nice and trusting .

It could've been someone that he knew maybe?? Sometimes those people overseas can get jealous when they know that somebody is going to immigrate to a better life !!! Even people that you THOUGHT were your friends.

Yeah you are right becouse its been happening there. He is not in his own country either he just goes to school in georgia. People been asking him stuff and if when he gets here will he sponcer them. I told him not to say anything more to anybody.

I am also afraid of when he comes here this will happen. He is not very street smart. I think my son is gonna have to teach him a few lessons especially with the wierdos that live in this town.

Too many jerks out there making these kind of calls to amuse themselves and believe me I don't think anyone from immigrations would be making these kind of unprofessional calls to begin with!

My wife (then fiancee) got a call 2 weeks prior to her interview. Her interview was at Mumbai. The caller asked if she was married and claimed she was calling on behalf of a newspaper. My wife figured it was a prank and told her to buzz off. That's it. No gay jokes.
